On February 19, P&S was proud to partner with the 2025 Procurement Summit, jointly organized by the Canadian Public Procurement Council and Supply Chain Canada – Québec Section. This major event brought together key stakeholders from across the industry to explore challenges and future solutions in procurement, all within a spirit of collaboration and innovation.

The summit offered our team a valuable opportunity to engage with passionate professionals, discover best practices in procurement management, and most importantly, showcase the tangible impact of process mining on supply chain efficiency.

Process Mining: A Game-Changer for Procurement Optimization

Procurement process optimization is a key concern for both public and private organizations. Delays, stockouts, hidden costs, and non-compliance are just some of the many challenges they face. This is where process mining proves invaluable.

Process mining allows organizations to reconstruct actual processes using digital traces from their systems (ERP, procurement platforms, etc.). It provides a factual and complete view of what is really happening—often quite different from the official procedures.

For procurement teams, this translates to:

Quick identification of bottlenecks and delays in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle

• Detection of process variations across suppliers, regions, or teams

• Better compliance with procurement policies

• And ultimately, more informed decisions powered by accurate and dynamic data

Building a More Agile Supply Chain

As a partner of the 2025 Procurement Summit, P&S demonstrated how process mining fits into a broader continuous improvement strategy. In an era where agility and transparency are essential, organizations must equip themselves with the tools to better understand, monitor, and transform their processes. Process mining is a powerful lever to achieve that goal.

We thank the organizers for hosting such a rich and engaging event, and we reaffirm our commitment to helping organizations advance their digital transformation through smart, data-driven process analysis.
